The Basic Ceremony is a specific service offered for those who want a quick, no frills exchange of vows ceremony. It is conducted exactly as detailed below, with no additions or substitutions. This service is available at Pastor Jack's home only. No consultation is required for this service. Please read the description of this service carefully before deciding if this is the service you want. If conducted at another location, a travel fee may apply.
This service is a simple exchange of vows and rings, with some optional elements, and is conducted exactly as detailed below in Pastor Jack's home. There is no procession, music, unity candle, or any other elements common to a traditional ceremony.
Besides the bride and groom, up to two additional adult guests can be accommodated in Pastor Jack's home for this service. If the ceremony is to be held in Pastor Jack's backyard, up to six additional adult guests may be accommodated.
No changing rooms or public rest rooms are available at Pastor Jack's home, this is a "come as you are" service. Pastor Jack is usually dressed casually for these ceremonies as well.
If you do not have a witness, one can be provided for you.
A valid NY State Marriage license in the name of the bride and groom must be presented to Pastor Jack before the ceremony begins. The couple and witness(es) will be asked to present picture ID before the ceremony can begin.
Please be prompt for your scheduled appointment. If you can't make it at your appointed time, please call Pastor Jack at (585) 324-0230 to determine if he can still accommodate you or if you need to reschedule.
Your ceremony will be performed and your license processed as soon as you arrive.
This service is ideal for elopements and short notice weddings. Basic ceremonies are seldom booked more than a month in advance. The ceremony itself last only a couple of minutes.
Fees for this service at Pastor Jack's home start at $50 Monday through Thursday between 10 AM and 4 PM, and $75 Monday through Thursday evenings, and $100 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cash payments only accepted for this service.
Ceremonies scheduled more than a week in advance require payment in full upon booking.
